Good Friday Walk of Witness

Good Friday Walk of Witness.

We were blessed with a fine, sunny morning as we gathered at Carnon Downs Chapel for the start of the walk.  We were led by Archdeacon Bill Stuart- White, who shared reflections by Timothy Ratcliffe based on the ‘Stations of the Cross’ at a number of stops along the route.

Numbers ebbed and flowed with more than 50 walkers, both young and old taking part along the walk.

We were treated to fresh coffee and a fabulous selection of cakes at Penpoll Chapel before setting off again, refreshed.  The walk was concluded at Feock Church by a welcome cup of tea and buttered hot cross buns.

A big thank you to all those who helped to make this Walk of Witness such a success.
