St Piran's, Perran-ar-Worthal

Welcome to the parish

church of St Piran

Church Road, Perran-ar-Worthal, TR3 7QF

The parish church of Perran-ar-Worthal is in the Anglican Diocese of Truro, Cornwall.
The church was granted Grade II* listed status in May 1967.  The churchyard contains several listed chest tombs and headstones.
The original 15th century church has been replaced with the exception of the tower which is still original.  The chancel was first rebuilt in 1842, then again in 1882 along with the nave, aisle and porch.
Our church is known for the warmth of its welcome and we have an active Sunday School, known as Piran’s People, as well as all the regular activities you would expect.  Perranwell Methodists have always been very close friends, taking part in joint activities on many occasions every year and we are particularly pleased that they have now decided to join us for regular worship. We eagerly anticipate our future with a united belief and a common goal to grow our church.

More information on this church can be found at its website:
