Is there any more joyous occasion than a wedding? And what setting could be more appropriate than in one of our beautiful churches, exchanging your vows in the sight of God?

Our churches often get booked up a couple of years in advance, but there are a lot of weeks in a year and with much shorter notice you can usually still book a wedding in. However, there is a lot to sort out for such an occasion, and that doesn't mean just the reception. There are a lot of procedures and regulations that need to be followed to ensure that your wedding is legal wherever it is held.  This need not cause you any worry as our priests are trained and know what to do!

For more information on a Church of England wedding please the Your Church Wedding website. This tells you everything you need to know and even includes a service planner.

If you would like to book a wedding in one of our churches then you will need to fill in a form and return it to our Administrator stating which of our churches you wish to be married in. Feel free to put in a preferred date and time, but please recognise that this is a request.  It is important to note that no time or date can be presumed confirmed until you have spoken with the priest taking the wedding. Please do not make any arrangements until that is done. As soon as the form is returned a priest will be allocated to your ceremony and will get in touch to confirm the time and to arrange meeting with you.
